“What about you, man? You on the dating apps?” asked Isaac.
“Oh, I’m more of a personality guy,” said Ravi. “People really need to meet me in real life, and be around me for 3-6 years, and get to know me, and only then do they start to find me attractive. It’s more of a process really, for girls to like me. A slow burn.”
“Oh, well that would mean that the girl you end up with, you probably already know…”
Ravi felt sick. None of the girls he knew liked him, and he no longer had 3-6 years to convince someone he was worth being with.
“Oh. Well, I guess I have to start being one of those successful, good looking guys!” joked Ravi.
“Time is running out, though” said Isaac, not smiling. Isaac was one of Ravi’s best friends, though, so he didn’t mind Isaac’s brutal honesty.
“Yeah. That’s true. Time is running out…”
The next day, Ravi joined a gym and tried to invest in Bitcoin but didn’t have enough money so didn’t.
